Compas de Nicaragua, a New Hampshire non-profit organization that supports health and education projects in Nicaragua, is sponsoring a Nicaragua Dance Tour performed by a seven-member Nicaragua dance ensemble. This multi-media performance includes eloquent, folkloric dances performed in beautiful costumes and dresses to the beauty of marimba music. The dance ensemble are all members of Women in Action, a women’s group that live, and carry out community projects in one of the poorest settlements of Managua, Nicaragua.
Learn about the incredible story of Women in Action, and how their projects are improving lives in their community, through music and dance, a video showing, storytelling, and a gourd art exhibit.
